The team at Cam’s Cause has decided to make Zane Kreymborg, a Junior Ambassador for the charity after the many years of hard work he has donated to Cam’s Cause.
Since the age of 7 years old, Zane has donated so much of his time sharing the story of CPL Cameron Baird VC MG, aiming to educate and inspire his fellow pupils and peers.
Zane has campaigned to have many permanent awards and plaques created in Cameron’s honour and shown so much maturity and passion in continually fundraising for our charity. Zane has rattled his money tin every Australia Day to raise approximately $10,000 over the last 8 years.
This is on top of many other great achievements he has been a part of to honour not only Cameron but also his fellow commandos. Knowing Zane’s family it is not hard to see why he has such drive and determination. Zane’s family, including his parents Tristan and Janine and Zane’s Uncle Brock, have also been extremely supportive of Cam’s Cause and have regularly contributed so much support financially.
Thank you for all your efforts and welcome to the Cam’s Cause Team.
Zane was presented with a letter from one of our Patrons, The Governor General, Sir David Hurley, and a replica VC.
